60’s Two Piece Suit from Bergdorf Goodman, NYC on The Plaza

60’s Bergdorf Goodman  Mad Men Two Piece Suit

Early 60’s Bergdorf Goodman suit in lovely dark coffee shade, think “Mad Men”.

Beautifully tailored in fine wool, fully lined in silk, it was made for an in-house  model. 

The dress is sleeveless, fitted at the waist with hidden silk pockets in line with front seams. There is a full length zip to back, with hook & eye detail to secure.

Labels inside dress are model’s details, stock number and date ( see photo)

Also the New York Clothing Workers Union tag for 1963. Size is small, 36-38 EU, 8-10 UK.

The jacket is fully lined with no closure, shorter sleeve with split cuff, no other adornment, classy.

This suit is in excellent condition.
